Ultimately that decision is up to you. We suggest you do plenty of research on your own before making that decision. We are biased, and will always say go with custom. We say this because with custom, you have the freedom to do whatever you want. Stock, and semi-custom are only so customizable. You may end up settling for something you were not to keen on to begin with. With custom their is no settling. You have complete control over everything from style, to hardware.
Not when you factor in the quality construction and lifespan of our products. If properly maintained our woodwork will outlast cheaper stock options. You should also consider the endless options and personal touch available when ordering custom.

Architectural millwork includes all the decorative and many functional elements inside and outside a home or commercial building. Doors, windows, trim and molding, cabinetry, paneling, ceiling treatments, exposed columns and beams, staircases, mantels and built-in furniture are all encompassed by this term.
Any owner who values architectural aesthetics should consider handcrafted millwork. Custom millwork is built to exacting standards from select grades of wood, to achieve either accurate historic style or sleek contemporary design. Fine hand craftsmanship costs more than mass production, but you’ll see the difference every time you open the cabinet, pass through the door or walk into the room. We will cheerfully suggest ways to work within your budget, and we’ll provide a reliable estimate after talking with you to determine your needs. Please contact us.
Absolutely! We want homeowners to have access to quality products directly from their source. It eliminates markup, and potential damage to the products in transportation to distributors, then to retail. We hope you buy directly from us.
Life is full of changes. We understand that an investment such as a home must satisfy your needs. The sooner the better for major changes of course, yet we will work with you through the entire building process. The only way you cannot change a product is if the product has already begun to be built, or if you selected a very specific species of wood that has already been ordered.
They are, and they are not. If you need longer runs just CONTACT US. We only sell the 8ft lengths online, because shipping anything over 8ft has to go through common carrier a.k.a. freight. We do this because frieght costs quite a bit more for the casual DIYer. If your a pro just let us know what you need.
How long from the time you order until the time we deliver cannot be answered without a lot more facts about what you want. However, we can give you a pretty good idea of how long when you ask about a particular project. If we can’t meet your deadline, we won’t take you project. Anyone that says a custom job will take X amount of time, without knowing the job scope, is just trying to get your job. We believe that our industry should under promise and over deliver, and that is something we live by.
